It was never intended to be for this long and I briefly returned to blogging at one point only to need to walk away again. There was a lot going on and my capacity had reached it’s limits.

Last month, my friend and I went out to see The Bodyguard The Musical. Like anyone who grew up in the 80s/90s I love the movie version. Who didn’t, right?

Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner are both pretty incredible in this movie. I had heard great things about the musical but I was still a little concerned. I had seen the Dirty Dancing musical when it came out and it did not live up to the movie version.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!! Today is also the last Friday of the March Break here in Toronto so I thought I would share all about the ROM Blue Whale Exhibit. Checking out this exhibit would be a great way to end the break!

The Blue Whale Exhibit at the ROM tells the story of one of the largest animals ever!

As part of our trip, we spent a lot of our time visiting with my mom’s brothers and sisters that still live in Ireland. On one day, my Aunt Kathleen and Uncle Jimmy picked us up and brought us out to Ashford Castle and they also took us out to visit Cong.

Visiting Cong was a spur of the moment decision. On the grounds of Ashford Castle is a thatched roof cottage that may have been used for the filming on the John Wayne movie The Quiet Man.
