On my trip to Northern Ireland, I visited the Giant’s Causeway, the rope bridge and our last stop was the Dark Hedges. I’ve never seen Game of Thrones (I don’t get HBO) but visiting the Dark Hedges was the main reason I went on this tour.

As part of our tour in Northern Ireland, we visited Carrick-A-Rede where you can take the rope bridge challenge!

A coastal footpath leads the way to the rope bridge. The sights are pretty spectacular and there are lots of spots where you can stop and take in the beautiful landscape.

During my recent trip to Ireland, I planned a day trip to the North of Ireland. Part of my plan was to spend time visiting the Giant’s Causeway.

The Giant’s Causeway is located in County Antrim on the northeast coast of Northern Ireland. It is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns and is the result of a volcanic eruption. However, the legend tells a different story.

On my trip to Ireland, my parents and I traveled to Galway with my Aunt Breege and Uncle Domo. Galway is one of my favourite places to visit (after Dublin of course ;). That last time that I was there I picked up some pretty awesome clothes so needless to say I was happy to go back. 🙂
