Ah Spring! Now that the weather is finally starting to warm up it’s time to return to all things spring. Here in Toronto, when the seasons change it’s time for sitting out on the patio, heading to one of the many street festivals, and going out to the ROM museum on a Friday night for a good time!!
Friday Night Live
On Friday nights in the spring/summer the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) opens the doors after hours for Friday Night Live (#FNLROM). This is the chance for guests to enter the museum for some good food, good music and to dance the night away surrounded by the various exhibits. Each week there is a different theme which relates to an exhibit the museum is featuring. The theme for this first night was #ROMInk. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Friday night in Toronto!!
I have 2 cousins visiting from Ireland so of course we had to take them to the ROM! The music that night was pumping and there were so many food vendors on site that you were almost guaranteed to find something that you liked!
The ROM is such a beautiful setting so I made sure to shoot some of the photos for my Vegas post. The romper I wore from Dynamite is super cute and SO comfy!! I love the culotte cut of the pants – tres chic!
There is something almost magical about wandering around a museum at night while enjoying some great drinks and listening to some cool tunes. There are so many exhibits that you can check out so I suggest you grab something to nosh on and take a wander around the museum.
The House DJ, DJ brains4brkfst’s outdid himself! Spinning tracks from Lemonade and Views definitely got the party started. By throwing in a couple of way back play back tracks the crowd was definitely on their feet dancing the night away!
When I arrived at the ROM the line to get in was already around the building!! This is definitely the place to be in Toronto on a Friday night! Grab your tickets here
