Friday’s Fab Finds: A Metallic Skirt and Why You Need One

I picked up this metallic skirt from RW&Co at the end of summer. What I loved about this skirt was that the bronze metallic look was different from any of the other skirts in my wardrobe. Whenever I add something new, I want to make sure it is functional and that it stands out. I have way to many things that are similar already so I am actively avoiding falling back into those habits.

What I love about this skirt is that the bronze colour pairs nicely with so many other shades! It’s basically a neutral so you can literally wear this skirt with anything and still look good! I kept to black and white for this look because I wanted the colour of the skirt to really pop. I shot this look back in March right after an ice storm hit which worked out perfectly for these shots as the skirt is really the only colour in the pics!

Must-Have: Metallic Skirt

So why do you need a metallic skirt? Having a metallic skirt in your wardrobe gives you so many outfit possibilities. It can so easily be styled for a more formal occasion just by playing up the bronze colour in the skirt. This skirt would look so good paired with a black bodysuit and some strappy heels.

The metallic sheen to the skirt might make it seem formal, but you can dress it down with a sweater and blazer like I did here for a more causal vibe. The blazer keeps the look streamlined making this outfit perfect for a girls night out or a date night! 😉

This skirt is also office appropriate because it is not too tight or short. When worn over tights or leggings like I did it should work in even the most conservative environments.

I love finding pieces that add some extra oomph to your wardrobe but are also items that can be worn over and over again in so many different ways. In my opinion a bronze metallic skirt like this one is definitely a wardrobe staple.
