On July 16th I had the pleasure of attending my very first blog conference!! It was SO much fun!! I am really glad that I went and I cannot wait to go back again next year.
Simply Stylist Fashion and Beauty Conference
The event was held at the Dana Hotel and Spa (gorgeous!!) and it started off with a networking brunch. There were plenty of yummy goodies served – including mimosas!! š After brunch we headed upstairs to the Vertigo rooftop space for the days activities.
Hosted by Catt Sadler of E network, the Simply Stylist conference had a panel of speakers sharing their expertise and wisdom with everyone who attended. Speakers included Cara Santana (actress, blogger and greater of the Glam App), Helen BerkunĀ (fashion photographer and stylist), Lindsay AlbaneseĀ (stylist and vlogger), Paolo NiedduĀ (costume designer and stylist) and Alaina KaczmarskiĀ (co-founder of EveryGirl). It was such a pleasure getting to listen and learn from all of them!
After the panelists we were able to mingle with the other bloggers and enjoy appetizers and cocktails. There were also several stations set up for us to get pampered!!
There was also the most talented sketch artist there who was doing our sketch. In only a few minutes she was able to create these beautiful drawings based off of our photo – how cool is this?!?
At the end of the day we were all given a swag bag filled with some awesome goodies from brands like H20+, Biossance and a gift card to Ali and JayĀ (looks like I’m going to be doing some shopping!!).
The Fashion and Beauty conference was a great opportunity to connect with other bloggers in real life. There were so many great speakers and I really feel like a learned a lot! I can’t wait for the next conference!
