Last month, my friend and I went out to see The Bodyguard The Musical. Like anyone who grew up in the 80s/90s I love the movie version. Who didn’t, right?

Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner are both pretty incredible in this movie. I had heard great things about the musical but I was still a little concerned. I had seen the Dirty Dancing musical when it came out and it did not live up to the movie version.

gaslight, play, theatre, going to see a play by yourself

I was interested in seeing a play that had a limited engagement in Toronto and I had tried to make arrangements to see it with someone. As you get older people are busy with work and other relationships and it can be hard to find the time to get together. I had asked a few people to see if there were available but we weren’t able to make it work before the play ended.
