Cards Against Humanity + Cape Town

I was at a house warming party for my cousin Yvonne, she of the great fur coat, and she introduced me to the game Cards Against Humanity. This game!! It is the greatest thing ever!

Cards Against Humanity is described as “a party game for horrible people”. It’s a really simple game to play. There are two decks of cards, one white and one black, and each round, one player asks a question from a card in the black deck and everyone else answers with their funniest card from the white deck. And hilarity ensues!

We played for a couple of hours and by the end everyone was in tears and clutching their stomach from laughing so hard. Some of the responses that people come up with are pretty disturbing but seriously funny! It’s a game where you can’t worry about offending people and you just go for it.

Cards and a Cape

Since I was going to a party, I put together a cute little party outfit. I picked up this cape and matching skirt from Chic Wish in the fall and I knew that this was the perfect time to wear it.

Wearing a cape is such an easy way to transform your look. You instantly look polished andĀ tres chic! This cape is made of angora and it is definitely not an outdoor cape during the winter months!! It does keep you nice and toasty inside however. I layered it over a plain white tee for extra warmth. I read an interesting article where the writer talked about how difficult it is to use your hands while wearing a cape! It was funny to read, but it’s not a problem that I have ever had. Especially in this cape. I found it very easy to move my arms especially when eating and drinking.Ā  It was a little tricky putting a coat on over it but still doable. Trends are not for everyone but the cape trend is one that I hope sticks around for a long time!!Ā
