A denim shirt dress is a great addition to your wardrobe and this one by Joe Fresh is the bomb! There are so many different ways that you can style it – I love a piece that can be so versatile!! It gives you so many wardrobe possibilities.
I first wore it buttoned up as a dress with a scarf but when I wore it this time, I wanted to show how you can change the look up simply by leaving a few of the buttons undone.
Take Two
As soon as I picked up this dress I started thinking about the different ways that I could style it. I was headed out to a Joe Fresh shopping event and I knew that I wanted to wear this dress but that I wanted it to be a different look from the last time. So I decided to do a take two.
By leaving a couple of buttons undone, and layering it over a crop top and printed skirt, I was able to create a completely different look. With the last few buttons undone, the skirt shows through adding in a little bit of print to an otherwise monochromatic look. I wanted to add a pop of colour so I went with this pink Kate Spade belt that I found at Winners #Score.
As part of my closet cleanout and makeover I’m really trying to mix things up by wearing old pieces in completely new ways. It was really only a few simple and easy switches and as you can see the look of the shirt dress completely changes.
Since it’s a button up, you could also leave it completely open and wear it as a long coat over a pair of leggings and a tank. It really is that versatile that there are so many ways that it can be worn.
