Every so often, the fashion magazines do a piece on 30days of fashion from 10-15 pieces. It always catches my interest. So I thought to myself: Can I really make 31 different outfits from only a handful of pieces? Challenge accepted!
For the month of March I am going to style a new outfit using the following items:
In order to complete this challenge I went through my closet and selected the following:
One pair of pants, I got this plaid pair from Dynamite and they are currently on sale!! One pair of coated leggings,
these ones are no longer available from Dynamite but they have similar ones available
One pair of skinny jeans, these are 7 for all mankind
Next, I picked one skirt
I got this one from Girl Friday
and one pair of shorts
Now that the bottoms are covered, lets move on to the tops.
I chose this denim shirt,
a printed tank,
a knit shirt
and a white t-shirt with a cowl neck,
I had initially planned to use a white lace dress, but then I remembered that St. Patrick’s Day will be coming up, so I swapped it with this green one
As the fashion guru Tim Gunn says “Make it work”. Oh, I will Mr. Gunn, I will. 🙂
Finally to top things off, I will use this blazer
and this black cardigan with bow buttons
(how cute!) from Jacob. RIP Jacob boutique 🙁
To accessorize I picked these two statements necklaces:
an eternity scarf
and I will choose from these shoes, a pair of riding boots
a pair of booties
or a pair of wedges
Check back tomorrow to see my first outfit. You can also follow me on Instagram and flickr.
