Happy Friday!!
Today I am sharing this gorgeous tulle skirt that I bought a while back. I saw it and even though at the time I had nowhere to wear it to, I knew that the day would come. Also, how pretty is this bow-tie top? Love it!

Since my accident, I don’t go out much, maybe to a restaurant once in a while. I’ve recently started going to the movies again, but I wasn’t able to for the longest time. One of the (many) side effects of having a brain injury is that bright lights and noise bother you. I’m now at a place in my recovery where certain lights don’t bother me as much as they used to; though I still hate fluorescent lights. Loud noises are still problematic for me. Being in a crowded social situations is still challenging. The noise can get to be too much, but it also makes it hard to listen and follow the conversation I am having with the person beside me. These are all things that I have to get used to and adapt to which is why I am starting to get out more. My health is also in a better place then it has been in a long time which has contributed to my ability to go out more. I still take it very easy, and I am extremely careful at all times.
This night out was a big step for me. I was able to get all dressed up and even wear some heels! These shoes have a mid heel which is perfect, this way your feet aren’t throbbing by the end of the night. I really love this tulle skirt! It is so pretty and even though I dressed it up here, it can also be dressed down with a more casual top and shoe. Unfortunately the crop top from Chic Wish is sold out as it is another item that can be worn dressed up like I did here or you can pair it with jeans. I once again wore my cape/blazer from SheIn, I swear I must put it on every time I go out!! It’s the kind of piece that can really change the whole look of your outfit so easily. I’ve even worn it over a sweatshirt and joggers! It makes every outfit looks so chic, I love it!
