I love belts (who doesn’t?) and it’s often my go-to accessory. When I wore this dress, I decided to add a pop of colour with my belt instead of using my typical black belt. This belt from H&M is a purplish-blue colour so it stands out against the greys and purples of the dress. When styling outfits, I like to mix it up sometimes and tie my belt in a new and different way.
Dress: Dynamite (old), Statement necklace: Dynamite (old), Belt: H&M (old), Booties: DSW
- Slide the belt through the buckle
- You won’t be using the prong on the buckle, so just hold it down flat
- Pull the belt all the way through
- Take the end of the strap and tuck it under the belt
- Pull the end all the way up
- Take the end and tuck it into the loop you’ve created in step four and pull tight
This frugal hack is perfect for a belt that’s a little too big. Not only does it look cute but you are sure to have your belt fit just right.
