Frugal Fashion Hacks – Belts

I love belts (who doesn’t?) and it’s often my go-to accessory. When I wore this dress, I decided to add a pop of colour with my belt instead of using my typical black belt. This belt from H&M is a purplish-blue colour so it stands out against the greys and purples of the dress. When styling outfits, I like to mix it up sometimes and tie my belt in a new and different way.

  1. Slide the belt through the buckle
  2. You won’t be using the prong on the buckle, so just hold it down flat
  3. Pull the belt all the way through
  4. Take the end of the strap and tuck it under the belt
  5. Pull the end all the way up
  6. Take the end and tuck it into the loop you’ve created in step four and pull tight

This frugal hack is perfect for a belt that’s a little too big. Not only does it look cute but you are sure to have your belt fit just right.
