Comfy is sometimes the name of the game!! I love putting on cute clothes, but there are days when I just want to put on an outfit that is comfortable and loose so that I can just hang around the house and chill. I put this look together the other day with some older pieces from my closet when I was running around doing errands and working on my blog.
Comfy, Yet Chic
For this look I paired a grey boyfriend style cardigan with a flowy patterned tank top. I love all of the bright colours and the different prints in this tank! I’ve noticed that in the winter months I tend to gravitate towards darker colours so I like to switch it up by throwing in some brights. Especially because bright colours make me think of spring which cannot get here fast enough!! It is SO cold!! These patterned leggings are one of my favourites because the black with the grey squares is a very subtle pattern. Since the pattern looks like little flecks of grey, it works like a neutral, so these pants can go with so many different looks. I feel like when going for a relaxed and comfy look, going with a neutral cardigan and pants are a nice balance for the bright print of the tank. To further play off of the relaxed vibe that I was going for it made perfect sense to wear my flat riding boots. They are also perfect for walking around running errands. I didn’t want the look to be too casual so I added a flower statement necklace.
Cardigan: RW&Co (old, similar), Leggings: Winners, Tank: The Bay (similar style), Riding Boots: Winners (similar), Necklace: Dynamite (old, similar)
I tend to wear a lot of dresses and skirts but I think it’s nice sometimes to just throw on a pair of leggings and a loose fitting top. It’s such a different vibe but it is still a comfy and chic look which is perfect for the weekend or just hanging out with friends.
