Hey everyone, sorry for the delay in posting this. Things have been pretty busy around here lately and before I knew it, over a month had passed and I hadn’t written this post. I really need to get myself organized so that I can manage everything that I have on my plate without letting things that I love (like this blog) slide.
Now on to the recap:
For day two, my mom and I decided to hit up the Millcreek Mall, TJ Maxx and Target on Peach St in Erie. Comfort and cute was the look that I was going for with my outfit. Lovin’ the hotel room #Selfie 😉
I looked out the window before heading out and it looked like a nice day out. Well, by the time we got from the room to the lobby it was pouring rain!! And of course we had left the umbrella in the car. We headed towards the mall and the rain started to let up a little. TJ Maxx is in the same parking lot so we ran in there first. Mom and I each picked up a new suitcase. These have four wheels on the bottom which makes them easier to move around. The rain had started to come down hard again so we had to make a mad dash to the car with our suitcases! Luckily they are made out of a hard plastic so they didn’t get ruined.
Â
We drove over to the mall and made another mad dash inside. I had brought my poncho with me so I was able to throw it over my head so my clothes didn’t get too wet. Mom did the same with her jacket.
One of my first stops was Aerie by American Eagle. They make the best bralettes which I love for wearing under tank tops. They are so pretty that if a little bit shows out the side you don’t mind. I like that these ones have a higher cut on top for wearing under a lower cut tank top.
My next stop was Forever 21 where I scored this gorgeous tank, swoon! It’s a little sheer, but luckily I found a pretty blush coloured bralette that will go perfectly under it 🙂 I love the beading on it. This tank can be worn dressed up with a skirt and heels but it will look equally as nice with a more casual outfit.
I have been looking for some BareMinerals foundation for the last little while, so I hit up the Sephora counter inside of JC Penny. The saleslady was so helpful, she helped me to find the right product and colour for my skin tone and type. Product review coming soon. I also grabbed a brow pencil from Anastasia. I’ve always filled in my eyebrows and I’ve found over the years that Anastasia makes some of the best products.
My last stop was the clinique counter at Macy’s. I had read about the new Clinique Pop lipsticks and I was eager to try one out. I tried out a few different colours and I ended up picking the Wow Pop. It’s a different colour than I usually wear so I thought it would be a great addition to my makeup collection.
After the mall, we grabbed a bite to eat. By this time the rain had finally stopped, thank goodness!
Now that we were dry and our tummies were full it was time to head to target. I had seen these denim joggers on another blog I follow, and I knew I had to try and get a pair for myself. These joggers stretch so luckily I knew to go down a size. I’m trying to be very conscious of the products that I use on my face and body and since I use a lot of lip balm, I wanted to find one that used natural ingredients. Yes to carrots has a line of lip balms that fit what I was looking for. I also picked up a new eye shadow duo while I was there – what can I say? I like makeup.
Day 3 – time to head back to Toronto
For my last hotel room mirror selfie, I paired my new sequin tank, over the blush bralette, with my denim joggers. Â Our bags were packed and it was time to say goodbye to the Econo Lodge and Erie PA.

Welcome to Canada!!
Thanks for reading!!
