Victoria Day and @katespadeny sale

Happy Tuesday!! Yesterday was a holiday here in Canada for Victoria day. What is commonly known here as May 2-4 weekend. Why? Because it sometimes falls on the weekend of the 24th (Queen Victoria’s birthday) but mainly because a case of beer is known here as a 2-4. It’s typically thought of as the start of cottage season and the kick-off of summer.

I spent yesterday hanging out with one of my oldest friends, walking along Queen St in the Beaches area of Toronto. We did a lot of talking, and of course a bit of shopping as a few boutiques remained open for the holiday.

I got a great distressed bracelet stand at a cute little shop Our Cottage and my friend picked up the perfect item she has been looking for to go in her condo. Next time I am redecorating I will definitely have to return!

Speaking of shopping, there is a Kate Spade Sale on now for a limited time – you can pick up some great new additions at up to 75% off! I like to use these sales as a way to pick up a little something extra for the special people in my life.

I’ve linked below a couple of items that caught my eye while I was perusing the sale. You have to move fast though as items are selling out quickly!!
