Nordstrom has come to Toronto!! Opening today is the new Nordstrom store at Yorkdale shopping centre. To celebrate the grand opening they held at gala on Wednesday night at the new store. With three floors you can find just what you are looking for.
The Nordstrom Gala
The Nordstrom Gala was a fun-filled night of drinks, appetizers, fashion, music and of course shopping!! All of the fashion lovers in the city came out to mark the occasion.
After dropping your car off at the valet station you were greeted by a violin and cello player in the garage. Pretty swanky!!
Next up, some drinks!!
and so many delicious looking bites to nibble on!

plus you might have seen on my Insta Story on Wednesday that Dj Jazzy Jeff was in the house!!
But they had not one but two celebrity DJs!!
I had no idea that Russell Peters was a DJ now!
A Nordstrom Fashion Show
In between sets, they had a fashion show that went up and the escalators before coming back down to finish on the main floor. Very cool!! There were some AMAZING designs on display!
This look here was one of my favs!! 
Heading out to the Nordstrom Gala gave me the opportunity to wear this beautiful dress that I picked up last month in Ireland. It was a little pricey but I knew that it was the perfect dress to wear to the gala! My cousin wore a dress from the clothing store Coast to our other cousin’s wedding and when I checked out their stuff I found this stunner!! It was love at first sight!!
The night was a lot of fun and the proceeds from every ticket went to Covenant House, Humber River Hospital, Sick Kids Foundation, St. Michael’s Foundation and Women’s College Hospital Foundation. All places that do amazing work and definitely need our support to continue.
As if the Nordstrom Gala wasn’t amazing enough everyone received some swag on the way out!! Candy and cold brew coffee!! Yum! 
Oh and did I forget to mention that they had more live music playing while you waited for your car from the valet?

hahaha having a Nordstrom here is a good and bad thing!! It just means that I have more opportunity to shop there!!
