Outfit Post – Sequins and Lace

This week, I decided to put together a couple of outfit ideas for New Years Eve, and nothing says New Years Eve like sequins!! I picked up this sequin skirt from Dynamite during the Black Friday sales and I could not wait to style it for an outfit post!

I love the back detail of this sweater!

Usually when putting together an outfit for NYE, you typically go full on glam, but for this look I wanted mix a little bit of a casual vibe with the sequins. So instead of a tank top or blouse, I went with this sweater from Dynamite. The lace detail is a pretty touch that plays well with the sequins in the skirt. I added this faux fur collar to bring in some colour to this black and white look. Of course, I went with my go-to leopard print clutch to finish off the look. This outfit is perfect if you are planning on staying inside to celebrate or for going out to dinner with friends. I’m actually planning on wearing it for New Years Day dinner, but I wanted to preview it here for my readers 🙂

I have another outfit post planned for tomorrow, but then I am taking New Years Day off to hang out with my family. Posting will resume again on Monday! I’m looking forward to the new year, I have a lot of big plans that I can’t wait to share with you! There will be some changes to the blog over the next few months (all good things) and I hope that you stick around! My one year blog-iversary is coming up in January and I have a special surprise planned to commemorate it 😉

This year for NYE I’m meeting up with some friends for the first time in three years. The last time I went out for NYE was right before my accident so I am excited to finally be able to get back out there! Hopefully I am able to stay awake long enough for the clock to strike midnight!
