New Years Eve Outfit Post: Jumpsuit

When I put together this look, I got a serious 90s vibe! The jumpsuit, with the sequin blazer, I even cuffed the pants so that you could get a better look at the booties!!

New Years Eve is often freezing, so pants are always a good option and a jumpsuit is a great alternative to a dress in the colder weather. I picked up this jumpsuit a few months ago and it’s made an appearance on the blog before but I wanted to bring it out one more time this year. It’s hard to believe that 2015 is almost over! The last few months have just flown by!

I saw this sequin jacket at Forever 21 and I fell in love! Who knew I was so into sequins? I swear I’ve turned into a magpie because shiny things keep catching my attention! When I first tried it on, I was just wearing a sweater and leggings and I immediately could see how versatile this piece could be. The cut of the jacket is really more like a blazer and because the colour is more of a bronze than a gold it can be worn during the day as well as night.

I took these photos when the weather was a lot warmer than it is today. The snow has finally come to Toronto šŸ™ Snow always looks so pretty when it first falls but before long it turns slushy and then everything looks so dirty and gross. Oh well, we all knew the snow would come eventually. At least where I am going for NYE is so close that I shouldn’t have trouble getting a taxi there and back.

What are your plans for NYE? Are you heading out or staying in? As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, this year I am going out but some years I have stayed in and hung out with friends or family. A number of times my brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew have come over or I have gone to there place for a movie night. It can be nice to avoid the chaos sometimes and just stay inside and chill.

Happy New Year!! See you in 2016!

Charlene xoxo
