I love makeup. I love how by switching up the colours/products you use you can look completely different. Makeup is a fun way to play around and enhance your natural beauty. I’ve tried a number of different products over the years with varying degrees of success. But these 4 beauty products are ones you need to try!

My top 4 beauty products
When looking for the best beauty products, you want something that does what it claims to do, doesn’t irritate your skin, and makes you look fabulous!! These 4 to all that and more!
Probably my favourite thing about all of them? That buying them won’t cause you to break the bank. Each item is $40 or less!
BareMinerals Blemish Remedy
Now, I’ve shared this one on here before but I love it so much I had to include it again!! Blemish RemedyĀ is on this list because it covers any pimples but isn’t so thick that you can’t see your freckles. I know not everyone loves having freckles but they are a part of me. I’m so used to them by now and I would look weird without them. One year they photoshopped my freckles out of my high school photo and I was like “who is this girl??” No idea why since other than the occasional breakout my skin was fine.
Swirl, tap, dust and done! Add it on over your concealer and everything is blended and you are good to go! There is nothing like finding the perfect foundation that makes you look like you, only a little better.
Vichy Normaderm
I tend towards oily acne prone skin so I need something that is lightweight but still has plenty of coverage. Enter the BB creams!
The Normaderm skincare line has been my go to for years so when I saw that they started making a BB cream I snapped it up. And haven’t looked back since.
This BB cream goes on smoothly and covers up any imperfections. A little concealer on your trouble spots and finishing off with some BareMinerals and your face gives the illusion of perfection!
Since it’s made with salicylic acid it helps to heal existing breakouts. More importantly it won’t lead to new ones. It’s also mattifying to keep us oily skin gals from looking too greasy.
Nars Blush
This blush!! Swoon!! It is amazing! Your cheeks have the perfect flush to them. Depending on how light your touch is you can have a soft flush or a little more oomph. Nars is a little more expensive than the rest but you need very little to get the perfect look.Ā And unlike other blushes it doesn’t wear off after a few hours.
Benefit Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil
The Goof Proof pencilĀ glides on seamlessly giving you the perfect arch. On one end is a spoolie brush to help blend. On the other is a non-sharpen tip which quickly and easily fills in your brows. Plus unlike traditional pencils and powders it doesn’t melt away by the end of the day. I know my oily friends know what I am talking about!
Experimenting with new colours is fun! But knowing who you are and what makes youĀ you is also important. Makeup enhances. Your eyes, your smile, wherever you want to draw the focus. Laying the perfect foundation with these 4 beauty products can help make any look flawless.
The 4 beauty products are my go-to’s for an everyday “natural” (but slightly better) look. They are really all you need. Some days I actually skip the rest of my makeup look and just throw on some lip balm and go. It’s an under 5 minute look that makes you feel put together but still you.
Have you tried any of these products before? What are your top beauty products? Let me know in the comments below.
Great post. Love the info on the brow pencil. Have you tried the gimme brow volumizing eyebrow gel? If so what are your thoughts? Thanks
I haven’t tried that one yet. I’ve also used their Browvo conditioning primer when I was growing in my eyebrows and I found that it made them look a little fuller. Hope this helps!!
jotting down the blemish remedy…thank you!
