Happy Monday!! Welcome back from the weekend!! It feels like we wait all week long for the weekend to arrive and you blink and we are back to Monday! I don’t know about you but I didn’t get nearly enough accomplished off of my list this weekend, oh well! I spent some time with family and friends and that’s what matters most. Everything else will get sorted out eventually.
I chose this mantra for this week because I am slowly starting to plan things that I have been looking forward to and thinking about for awhile. I feel like as I move forward in life that I am moving towards bigger and better things and I am excited!
Better things Ahead
I registered this weekend to attend 2 blogger conferences!! WhooHoo!! I have been wanting to attend one for awhile now after reading about them on other blogs. They sound like so much fun and I think that they will be a great way to network and meet other bloggers and people in the industry.
I have my first conference in Chicago this July. My roommate and I have talked about visiting Chicago for years!!! We decided that this year is finally the year so we are going as a way to celebrate our birthdays since we are born a week apart.
The Simply Stylist conference sounds like it will be so much fun! I can’t wait!! If anyone lives in the Chicago area and has recommendations for things to see/do please let me know in the comments below.
I will also be attending a 2 day conference in Toronto this fall with Spark Sessions. I think it will be great to get the chance to connect with other bloggers who live in my area.
I am also looking forward to moving my blog into a bigger and better direction. It is time to switch things up a little. I’m planning a redesign with my friend who is a graphic designer to make the blog look and run a little better. I can’t wait to get started!
I have some other pots in the fire that I am excited about but I don’t want to talk about them yet until they are confirmed. I am definitely making plans for myself and moving forward in a way that I never have before!
