1 item, 2 seasons – floral skirt

Happy hump day!! Today, I’m showing you another way that I transition clothes from one season to another. I picked up this floral skirt during the summer, on sale at Dynamite. I loved the bright colours and the floral print! In the first outfit, I paired it with a crop top, a denim vest and my skechers. I’ve had these skechers for years! Since they are beige/white I am so careful with them so that they don’t get filthy! The denim vest was a little out of my comfort zone. It reminds me of the 90s, but I thought that it could be a fun look! I took a chance and I really like how it all came together.

In this second look, I styled it for a windy day in fall (hence the windblown hair). My mom stepped in to take these photos as I was on my way out and didn’t have time to pull out the tripod. They may be a little on the blurry side, but she did her best! šŸ™‚ This time, I played up the colours in the skirt by wearing this wrap-front camisole from Dynamite. I added my go-to faux leather blazer from Winners ($40!! I seriously wear it all the time, best purchase ever!!). The final piece, my over-the-knee boots, which I love SO much!! I wear them All. The. Time! I’m sure people are going to get sick of seeing them – but not me!! šŸ™‚ I’m always cold, so of course I’m wearing tights, but it could also be worn with just the boots.
