Years ago my friend and I were trying to figure out where to travel to when suddenly the Hangover came out and our decision was made!! Vegas Baby!! When I visited Vegas, I made a point of visiting the different resorts on the strip to see what they had to offer. Walking up and down the strip is one of the best ways to see Vegas – there are so many things to see and do there! I had a great time!
I found out that Vegas.com was looking for the ultimate Vegas outfit and I wanted to share with you how I would transition my outfits from day to night using Vegas and the glamorous hotels, restaurants and nightclubs as my inspiration. With all that Vegas has to offer it isn’t hard to be inspired! I have to admit I was excited to participate in their #UltimateVegasOutfit Challenge!
Outfit 1: Day
For a day time outfit, I chose something that would be perfect for sightseeing along the strip. For my inspiration, I chose the Wyn Hotel’s stunningly beautiful floral gardens. It’s hard not to be inspired by such beauty! During my trip I was amazed at how beautiful and intricate the floral gardens were. I mean, look at this ladybug!! These photos were taken during my trip so I can only imagine how beautiful it would be today!
The floral atmosphere inspired me to continue the floral motif by styling this beautiful abstract floral skirt with a tank and jean jacket. As you know, I am a huge fan of mixing prints so of course I had to choose a halter neck tank in a pretty geometric print. When sightseeing, it’s always good to have a cross body bag to keep your hands free. Perfect for taking pictures of the stunning hotel properties! I chose this one for it’s neutral colour and fun fringe design. The bucket style means that it can hold all that you need for a day of sightseeing. A camera, a bottle of water, some lippie and you are good to go.
Jean Jacket: Dynamite, Skirt: Dynamite (old), Bucket Bag: Dynamite (old), Tank: Dynamite
Outfit 2: Night
For night, I chose as my outfit inspiration the Las Vegas nightlife and in particular the VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub. The nightclub is located 51 stories up at the top of the Rio Hotel. I can’t think of a better way to see Vegas than on top of a roof! When in Vegas, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, but a super cute culotte romper like this one definitely comes home with you! 😉
For dinner, a printed blazer on top gives your outfit the sophistication needed to get into any of the amazing restaurants on the strip. Then when it is time to hit the night club, the blazer comes off and you are good to go! It’s party time!! With a pair of heels in a bright colour you will definitely be in the mood to dance. A block heel gives you the comfort you need to stay on the dance floor all. night. long!
Romper: Dynamite, Blazer: RW&Co
Thank you Vegas.com for challenging me to create outfits inspired by sin city!! I had a great time, thinking outside of the box and using the gardens at Wyn and VooDoo nightclub to help guide my looks. What inspires you when it comes to putting an outfit together? Let me know in the comments below.
Thanks for reading!

Outfit #2 is fabulous. Those shoes are to die for!
I’m really loving that skirt and the Rooftop outfit is perfect. The neckline on your jumpsuit and the jumpsuit itself looks great on you. Those shoes are to die for as well!
I love Vegas! Such a fun place. Your jumpsuit is just perfect! xo

I like the evening outfit best. Maybe because I’m a night owl? Maybe because I love black? You look great in both outfits, regardless.

Great looks! I love Vegas and haven’t been in a few years. It’s definitely time to make another trip!
